On July 31, 2024, our Department of Water Resources Engineering had a productive and enriching field trip as part of the second phase of the project: “Development of Rainfall-Runoff Modeling and Application of Satellite Rainfall Data.”

In Kabin Buri, Pachin Buri Province, we demonstrated the use of RTK equipment to survey historical flood boundaries and levels, providing crucial practical insights.
Engagement at Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center Region 3, Prachinburi:
Our visit to the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center was a significant part of the day. We engaged in an informative session on data application and flood warning systems, focusing on the areas of Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Nakhon Nayok, Chachoengsao, and Saraburi.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center Region 3 and other government organizations for their warm welcome and valuable insights. Their support greatly enhanced our understanding and enriched our field trip experience.
