The second day of the field trip as part of the Development of Rainfall-Runoff Modeling and Application of Satellite Rainfall Data

On August 1, 2024, our Department of Water Resources Engineering continued our field trip as part of the Development of Rainfall-Runoff Modeling and Application of Satellite Rainfall Data project.

🏢 Morning Session at Royal Irrigation Department Office 9, Chonburi, we had an insightful discussion on the topics covered including water resource management, flood and drought challenges, and the constraints of watersheds connected with neighboring countries. We would appreciate the Royal Irrigation Department for their warm welcome and the valuable insights shared during our visit.

Afternoon session, we visited the Eastern Water Resources Development and Management PCL. in Rayong. We engaged in a productive discussion on regional water management and operational strategies for water allocation in EEC areas. Evening session, Asst. Prof. Anurak Sriariyawat, PhD provided an insightful lecture and hands-on teaching in coastal engineering at the Eastern Coast in Rayong Province.
