Asst. Prof. Dr. Pongsak Suttinon, Head of our Department of Water Resources Engineering at Chulalongkorn University, represented Thailand as the Thai National Committee on Irrigation and Drainage (THAICID) at the prestigious 9th Asian Regional Conference (AsRC) in Sydney, Australia, on 2 September 2024. His presentation on “Economic Benefits Analysis of Efficient Irrigation: Case of Alternate Wetting and Drying Irrigation for Paddy Field in Thailand” has significantly contributed to the discussions on sustainable irrigation practices.
